I am finally using a new-in-box non-aluminum 23" Cinema Display I received as a gift last year when Apple introduced the new aluminum model.

Are there any known issues with the "legacy" display? Anyone have any problems with theirs?

Mine works just fine, but I'm curious!

I assume you mean the ADC display with the grey plastic bezel and transparent feet. I've been using the 17" flavor for several years now with no issues. Clear, sharp, bright. So bright in fact that I turn the brightness all the way down most of the time.

Nope. Not that I've read about. Enjoy man! 😀

Man, if I was given one of them, it would have been outta the box as soon as I got home. 😉

I wouldn't have even read the manual in eager to use it 😛
I have a 17", which is usually enough screen space, I could bear 15"... My next monitor will have to be at least 20" though I think.
