White Back Housing - Will it void warranty?

I know if I walk in with a white iPhone 4 Apple will refuse service, but what if I just put back the black one? Will they notice it was tampered?

You'd have to be perfect in putting the black piece back on when your done with the white piece, although they probably won't notice.

Yes, it does void the warranty.

idk how "perfect" it needs to be since replacing the backplate is pretty much idiot proof.
