I shot some video yesterday on my phone in a room which has white walls and large windows. I notice on the footage that the White balance keeps changing. At times the picture has a slight yellowish hue and next it goes back to the White it should be.
Is this a common problem with these phones or is there something wrong with my phone? It is very irritating as the video was meant to be shown to other people and the result is just not as it should be.
I edited it using iMovie app which doesnt offer any option to correct colour. And it would be very hard to do as the white changes all through the video.
I have shot a lot of videos on the phone but have not noticed this problem before possibly because the locations have not been pure white before.

iPhone video camera is pretty much auto everything. That's what you get with an auto everything camera.

The yellowish tint is likely the meter reacting to incandescent lights inside the room. If so, next time turn them off.
