Has anyone else noticed this? On my i5 the home button was the exact same colour as the front of the phone, but on my 6+ the button is less creamy and a very bright white.

IPhone 5 shade of white was never... Creamy...

Just trying to describe the difference in colour. The home button is a much brighter white, and the front panel is more creamy in comparison. Look at a white BMW and it looks as white as white can be, but park it next to a white Mini and it looks creamy in comparison.

Probably just the Saphire Lens on the Touch ID.

Yes the home button for the iPhone 5S, 6, and 6 plus is a different material (sapphire) to prevent scratches for Touch ID to work more fluidly
