I got two iPhone 3GS (32 GB) white ones the other day. I'd say they definitely look like a creamy white. The older iPhone 3G white was definitely more white. The plastic on the newer iPhone is different too. You can see it when you've seen the previous white model.

You'll find that the bleach white color will fade after having it a year or so. This happened with my iPhone 3G.
