White iPhone 4 and my Grand Scheme!

I'm not just content to wait for the White iPhone to appear (the one I want) so I Pre-Ordered the black one. I'm still bound and determined to get the White iPhone when it appears. So, my grand scheme is to get my Father (who is well overdue to upgrade from iPhone 2G) to buy a White iPhone fully subsidized, and then I'd like to transfer my account to the White iPhone and give him my Black iPhone. Does anybody know if this is possible? We aren't on a Family plan.

Just swap sims after he buys the white one.

I don't think that works with iPhones in the US, you have to register/activate the phone even after swapping the SIMs.

You will probably have to connect it to iTunes, but it'll work.

Should work with the SIM swap. iTunes or the iPhone upon first boot will register/activate with the sync, but it won't disable anything...

I did this with two 3G models and it worked fine so I don't see why it wouldn't work for the new iPhone 4.
