White iPhone for females?

I can't really tell if my 3G iPhone White is a FEMALE or MALE, but I don't think it cares...
Search button is your friend on this one. There's at least 5 - 6 different threads on this.
Bottom line is you get what you like, and to hell with what anyone thinks. If you're worried about manliness and femininity when it comes to colours on a phone, there's self esteem issues to deal with. Besides, Black and white are neutral. If they came out with a pink iPhone for breast cancer awareness, I'd buy it without hesitation.

I personally like neither as much as the original aluminum case. But I like the black better than white on the 3G just due to the matching factor. The front of the iPhone is black, therefore it looks better with black to me. If Apple wants to go all colorful with the iPhone, they should do more than just create a different back.
there are tons of guys who own both. get which ever you want. if someone messes with you about it tell them to eff off
If I was a female I would still get the black 8GB because its the best bang for the buck for the average user. The white is a 16gb and is about 100 dollars more expensive.

I'm a guy, straight, athletic. I like the white version. Looks more futuristic to me. Like 2001, Space 1999... lots of white stuff there.
I bought one of each color, then let my wife pick which one she wanted. She picked the white one, so I have the black one. You may conclude what you like from that huge statistical sample.
If I was your wife, I would have picked the white one too. If you give someone a choice, there's a 50% chance they will pick one or the other.
Yep. I'm a dude and I got the white one. Does that mean I'm some sort of transvestite? No--it means I wanted 16GB of flash space and liked that color scheme more. It's a phone, not a deep seeded personal statement about one's psychical disposition.

I have white an it tells the world "Yea that's right...I have a 16gig iPhone...say sumthing!"
But what I will say about a white iPhone is that it may not show fingerprints as much as the black one but it does show lil hairline cracks on different pressure points like where you adjust the volume, the power button and the headphone plug.
