I'm not sure how this happened since it's been in a case since the first day I got the phone. It's only been about a month and somehow there are dents on the back of the iPhone.
 
There's your answer. A lot of cases cause scratches because dust, lint and other particles get trapped in between the case and the phone.
 
It was mostly a wtf how did I get nicks already kind of thing.
 
Plastic lol. It may be cheap and light but it sure isnt as nice as anodized aluminum :(
