I'm not sure how this happened since it's been in a case since the first day I got the phone. It's only been about a month and somehow there are dents on the back of the iPhone.
 
There's your answer. A lot of cases cause scratches because dust, lint and other particles get trapped in between the case and the phone.
 
Plastic lol. It may be cheap and light but it sure isnt as nice as anodized aluminum 🙁
