Lol. I had to re-read this entire thread to remember that I even participated in it. I too think it's funny that I said that, and then we've now got the white iPhone 3G. However, that phone is not a 3G, as someone else pointed out the silent switch and volume buttons are black, not silver like on the 3G. My guess is was a colorware job.

Oh well, this thread was the rare exception to the "holy crap I can't believe you dug up an old thread" thread.

Okay for the last time the damn phone isn't white, it's the normal silver.

The photograph itself isn't its actual color. It's in a newspaper.

They don't have color ads in newspapers!? HOLY COW! I must be on something when I read this morning's paper!

What he means is that the color is off therefore making it look white.

I can't believe people are still thinking it's a colorware iPhone. It looks EXACTLY like my zero day iPhone 2G when cover up the black antenna/speaker cover.
