No. Having jet black being similar to black is already bad enough because they could have given us a blue color option rather than two blacks, so silver and white would be too similar as well. We need more colors (red was a good start).

Every white cell phone I have seen looks dirty on close inspection. I am sure all cell phones are but white shows the dirt more. I got to have a black bezel so a white phone is not in my future.
