I just swapped my stock 2x 1 GB RAM sets for some OWC 2x2 GB sets. Upon removIng the stock chip sets, I notice there is a white substance built up on the pins. Now, I sustained water damage to my keyboard two months back( using my macbook in the bathroom to play music whilst showering, hit the keys with water on hands). Is this white substance corrosion from the water dripping into my keyboard? Will it affect my new RAM sets, if so, what can I do to clean the white stuff from my RAM slots without damaging anything up in the slots? Thank you for your help!

I also found a white substance on my RAM pins when upgrading earlier this year. An Apple Genius told me it was oxidation and that it's quite common.
