iPod touch White screen on iPod Touch

Please help!!!! My touch goes on, battery life is fine. The music and video apps are just plain white screens!!! Can't listen to music anymore. Here's the problem...my non-mac pathetic computer crashed and music is not backed up (my bad) How can I fix this? Obviously I lost music and have to start over but even restoring doesn't help.

hmmm, so what i am getting here is that when you go into music or videos, that is the only time the screen is white. Does the ipod freeze or does just a tap of the home button bringyou bacK?

did anyone ever figure this out? i am experiencing the same issue. It just started so i assumed it had to do with iOS 4.1 or greater.

But based on the dates of your posts it has been a problem for awhile.

any workaround found?
