Hi.
Today I noticed that there are some white spots on my phones chin (pro max).
The device is a couple of weeks old, never dropped, never even been on a pocket yet and I’m pretty sure those marks weren’t there until yesterday.
It looks like the paint is chipped from the inside.
You can see it if you hold the phone normally, and they start to faint when you tilt the phone.
They also bleed some light if you turn on the screen and you tilt the phone.
Is this a known issue or something?
I don’t want to stay without a phone now that Apple stores are closed.

I'd use a toothpick and see if it can be removed..

I don’t know if this is gonna solve the problem or make it worst though.
Cause I see the tiny spot lighting up when I turn on the screen, so I’m assuming that the paint of the bezel is chipped already.

Well a toothpick is wood and shouldn't cause anymore damage even if it is a chip. The best case scenario is it comes off and your good to go.

True. I’ll try tomorrow and see how it goes.
It’s strange that it didn’t happen to anyone else though.
I don’t know if I should feel lucky that this isn’t a known issue, or unlucky cause I’m the only one with that issue

I've seen threads about chips around the bezel before so if it does turnout to be a chip you're not the only one. It's possible it was like that before you even opened up the box you just didn't notice it
