My sight is not what it was, and I find that white text, black background is best. I have achieved that on the Desktop by changing the wallpaper to plain black, and IOS 9 has kindly and without being asked changed the Desktop text-colour to white.
However, I should like to achieve that result for the text in messages, &c. There use to be a choice to Change Text to White on Black, but that seems no longer to be available, and one must choose Invert Colours or nothing.
Is there any way around this ?
