White Unibody MB Ram limit question

    Why is it limited to 4 gigs? Is this a hardware or software limitation?

    well ow sell an 8gb kit and i have spoke to a few guys ha have got 8gb in there macbook. apple only support up to 4gb but the chipset can use 8gb according to a lot of people.

    i heard not all 8 gig sets ups work, correct?

    why would that be?
