just wanted to state how impressed I am with the graphics on the whitebook - I have a 2.4, 4GB ram whitebook and I'm in the middle of playing halflife 2 and its just fantastic - speedy, detailed and lovely -

How far can I push the graphics quality do you all think? Fallout3? whattcha reckon seasoned mac gamers?

No chance i'm afraid, nada, zip. The X3100 in the white macbooks is a silicon tortoise. Fallout 3 needs a much more powerful GPU so it's either stick with Fallout 1 + 2 or buy a new rig, not the answer you're looking for i'm sure but it's pretty useless for current games. Doom 3 and Quake 4 are about the furthest you can go if you turn the settings down.
