I only had to queue for five minutes outside the Bullring Apple Store on the 11th, then spent the next eight and three quarter hours in the shop trying to get the bloody contract to go through with O2.

I was lucky I didn't have to wait in line a single minute on June 13th where I got it. The Telcel service center that I went usually isn't open on Sundays, however, they opened 10:00 AM that Sunday. Since almost no one knew they were going to be open, other Service Centers were with long lines, but the one I went to was empty. Spent no time in lines and about 20 minutes getting the phone set up. Since then I have my 16 GB Black iPhone 3G.

I went to the Willowbend mall in Plano but their line was 5 hours! I figured I'd come back in twenty minutes after eating..guess what? The line grew longer!!

The apple guy told me not to bother because he said they wouldn't have enough iphones for everyone...LIAR. Then he told me I need to be the primary person on the account..wtf lol it shouldn't matter as long as my name is on the account! I think he wanted me to leave...(I'm 17)

The next day they had iphones but I didn't want to drive an hour 1/2 for it..So DF don't fail me now!!!

I got mine at the Brea Mall on 7/17. Stood in line for 10 min. I happened to be in the store when their shipment got in at 3pm. Lucky me.

Waited in line at Valley Forge Apple Store for about an hour on 7/13. Picked up a white 16gb, works great and I am totally pleased with it!

Got mine at midnight on the eleventh. I waited in line for about an hour with some friends and was the fourth one in the store. Swisscom gave us free food and beverages as well!

my friend and i were first in line on july 10th 8pm. since we are 14, everyone was looking at us. lol. our original plan was to arrive at the store at 6am on the 11th, but if we would do that, we would be way too late. it was fun having all that attention and all of the older people looking at us. lol. so yep. i got mine 8am july 11th.

I got mine on July 11. Waited in line for 4 hours in the morning. No regrets whatsoever as this is my first iPhone. Got a 16gb white.
