I think every generation except the 3g(s) looks great in its own way. That said, the feel of the 5(s) was just a little off in hand even if it was beautiful and those chamfered edges were just too delicate. The 6 is the first model since the 3 that I may go without a case. It just feels great in hand.

i think apple is big company ,
they has many smart guy and smart team work on iphone , so before they doing something they already pick up a idea from their group , so group team agree a design ok then they decide go for it ,

100 people using iphone 6 that doesnt mean 99 people say ugly , of couse 70 people like it and 30 left are dislike ,,,,,

I love my 6, my 5s/5 and 4 all dug into my hands for any prolonged use due to the square edges, the curved 6 back is something I've wanted from an iPhone since I used a 5c, was so much nicer than my 5s outside of a case.

Pretty much agree with mostly everyone.
The front looks great but not the back.
Would've been nicer probably if they opted to keep the glass strips on top and bottom of the back to rid if the thick lines

The front is really nice, but I'm not a fan of the back. It's not even the bands, the camera just bugs me. The design of the 5/5s was my favourite.

IMO the 6 is a sexy looking phone if you ignore the back. The antenna bands bug me in the same way as door protector strips on a good looking car.

As many others here have already pointed out the 5 now seems boxy to me. I hated the 2-tone back on my slate 5 but changed my mind on that over the course of owning it.

I think the 6 and 6 plus are a much better design than the 5 series. It took me a while to come around on the 5/5s. I did finally, but after seeing the 6 I understand why I had trouble liking the iPhone 5/5s...

The iPhone 6 is a greatly designed phone however indo wish they hadn't when around the top and bottom with the antenna breaks... I understand that they had to have them, but could've just been a line like the HTC M8

i think 6 back round edge and white line are cook idea , took from 5C ..

6 back camera look ok , if they add some glass on back line or making something glass will look perfect

Absolutely hate the BOX of iphone 4/5 especially with a case, it was a brick. Ergonomic/rounded shape is superior, period. iPhone 6 reminds me iphone 1's ergonomics. Sure the back looks horrible, but I use a case :)

I love the look of the 5/5S, especially the gold.

However I love the look and feeling of the 6. It fits my hand perfectly and the rounded edges play nicely with my need to stretch across the screen at times. I got the space grey and the antenna bands actually look fine on it, they don't bother me at all. I'll probably get a case but even so, I don't mind them at all.

Gorgeous phone all around, imo!

from beginning to end , we can tell each year get better design look .

     i love it .............

I think the 6 looks less blingy than the 5s because of the lack of that chamfered edge but it's so much better to hold and interact with because of the curved glass. It's also less likely to scratch and chip than the 5s so in the long run I think it will hold its value better. I'm a fan.

it looks the best because it's definitely a departure and a fresh design.

overall time will tell.. all of the series have characteristics that stands out IMO.

that's a BAD representation of the iphone 6.

I hated the 5/5S design at first because I missed the glass back of the 4S but then I got used to it and found it quite elegant. Now I'm having the same doubts on the 6/6+ design. The lines just look off to me. But maybe I'll change my mind once I get mine.

I do like the design of the iPhone 6 over the one used for the iPhone 5s and earlier. And I think that's because it's been a long time that Apple has been using design that look like a 'block', while the iPhone 6 looks much better than that. :)

I think it's hard to pick which one is better now. The iPhone 6's design definitely has grown on me. :apple:

I really liked the Slate version of the iPhone 5, pitty it chipped off and wasn't there for long to enjoy.

The 6 is a great looking phone. I don't understand the negative reaction of some people. The camera on the back is not by any means a problem and I think its down to people having a bitch about it before it came out and now they can't back down. There also has to be the group of people that cannot get one so they will slate it and downplay its significance to make themselves feel better about not having one. I did when I 1st saw the leaks, looked at the antenna lines and thought they were out of place. Having one in my hand, I actually think they look pretty good. I wouldn't want the back to be all one colour again, I think if people are honest, if the 6's were all one colour it would be classed as bland and just a "chunk of metal" - other words no winning.

Suppose it really comes down to: like it = buy it, find it repugnant = do not buy.

I like the front of the 6 the best, with the round edges. But, the back, eh, not so much. With a case on, the iPhone 6 is the best looking iPhone to me.
