I would love to have 32GB of storage but I think 2GB Ram is more important.
I can't imagine Apple only putting 1GB of ram on the 6S. I would be EXTREMELY disappointed if the next iPhone had the same RAM and Camera.

RAM would be more important if only because there are already options to go up in storage for those what might want that, while with RAM there is no such choice.

I couldn't give a hoot about storage levels as that's a choice I can make at time of purchase. However the ram isn't something I can choose but I want!

If Apple continues with 1GB of RAM then they deserve every bomb dropped at them.

Make it a poll? And yes, paying more for more storage just sort of makes sense to me.

Well, even my goldfish knows it doesn't cost $100 to upgrade the chip inside the phone, and at this point it's no longer a good selling tactic. If it had more features alongside the increased memory, sure, but it's just the freaking memory module that cost Apple like a buck extra. I want them to make the whole phone $50 cheaper to start with, and then just $50 for extra storage like with the iPod touch. That's still making them a lot of money, but people are more willing to upgrade to a higher storage capacity.

Tough Toffees then, I am sorry to inform you that Little Timmy is not going to change his mind because of some users on a forum. It is entirely up to Apple, unfortunately you either accept that and pay more or live with 16GB for now. Be thankful the base model gets all the features, if you look at what other companies tend to do you will notice 32GB may be the base model But the "Premium companies" And i use that term loosely. Charge £700 or £800 for 32GB models. Would you prefer the removal of 16GB but for the prices to stay the same. You are asking for something for nothing.

EDIT: I realise you are on about the RAM when i read this again. I am so sick of THE 16GB OUTRAGE that it is sort of a trigger.

Who agrees that banana prices in Ecuador are more important than Bayside beating Valley in the homecoming game?

(Fallacies of false bifurcation are fun!)

I agree. I'm going to be very disappointed if they don't put 2GB of ram on it & it doesn't bother me to pay for a 64GB one, at least you have the choice of the storage but Apple will never give you the choice about the ram.. (At least I think so).

32GB would be good just to save 100$, but 2GB of ram is just THE think Apple has to do.

So 32GB options are all Apple should add in order to sell you all a new iPhone. Interesting.

The real question is, at announcement will Apple advertise the 6/6S as having 2GB of RAM on stage? Doubtful. Will be know for sure before preorders open?

I get there is a need for 32GB but more RAM is far more important to this launch, at least we have a 128GB option, Samsung isn't even offering that. Theoretically more ram could lead to a very small boost in battery life and a speedier phone, if they could just speed up the animations as well I would be real happy.

absolutely more important for more ram..... I always buy the largest capacity available so I could care less about a 32gb phone, as I wouldn't be buying it anyways.

Not if the fix the OS, it consumes more RAM than windows - but thats never going to happen...
Are you sure you've used Windows? Because I've got 8GB on my desktop and there's 0MB free...

That said, at this point in time Apple should be upgrading both RAM and base storage.

Part of me thinks that possibly the 6S PLUS will come with 2GB and not the regular 6S. Something to differentiate the Plus. Exclusive to the 6S+: Multi-window multitasking and 2GB.

The differences are always something Apple can advertise, like OIS for 6 plus. RAM isn't going to be it.

Sorry to be obtuse, my iPhone 6 works fine for me, propably not using it to its fullest potential: What apps are causing RAM issues for those that have them? Just curious, thanks.

This is a joke right? Windows is a RAM hog. Especially Windows 10. If you are running Windows with 1GB RAM then you should probably take care of that.

Well I'm pretty sure you can browse more than two tabs in windows without it reloading the webpage if you flick between them... iOS is a dog, it needs fixing..!

To me, storage is more important than ram just cause I've had very few performance issues with my iphone. I really need 64 gigs in my life right now.
