Looking to buy 2 small profile tablets for both my kids this Christmas...if the price is right, I will go with mini Ipad...but if the price is way off base (I am willing to pay a bit the "Apple surcharge" to a point, but the "leaked" price don't look too good), then I'll go with Nexus 7...

I will be hard pressed to buy anything with only 8 GB...and a 16 GB Mini iPad for $349 is just too damn much...once it breaks the $300 threshold it's pretty much a not starter...

Mini WiFi for my mother's 70th birthday (she finds her iPad 2 too cumbersome). Mini with cellular for my treat to myself :).

Mini for my little sister. Xmas.

But may get returned unopened, not happy with specs. Well see when I get a chance to see first hand. Size is good, but sounds like a 3rd rate sub standard product unfit for gifting compared to a retina iPhone 4 from 2 generations back.

Keeping my iPad3

I got 1 coming for my aunt for Christmas. She wanted a kindle fire cause she has a reg kindle but I told her the kindle software is terrible and the iPad can use all the services the kindle can use plus more it can't.

Its a gift to myself since I don't need it but have to have it. If its a gift... how can I refuse it. I wouldn't want to be rude.
