Do you love them? Hate them? Why?

I have USAA, who are awesome.

Free checking with interest, no ATM fees, excellent customer service.

Local bank that no one has heard of. Walk in, they know who I am. I can talk to the president of the company if I wish. Makes things a lot easier.

BMO Bank of Montreal. I get a $5.45/month chequing account that has unlimited transactions, including cheque writing and bill payments online. I get an $8.50 student discount on it which makes it $5.45, it's usually 13.95. The other bank's rates suck. :) That's about where the good stuff ends. I don't like their customer service, their website can be buggy, and it seems like you have to tell them to do things that should be done right when you open the account. Some family is with RBC.

Chase. Been with them since I opened my first checking account when I was 13.

The only banks around her are locally owned or regional. Right now I'm with Whitaker Bank of KY. Of the three I've used so far they're the best. Free checking, free online banking w/bill pay, and the tellers are all really nice. I'm usually in and out in about a minute.

ING Direct. Best. Bank. Ever.

...and if anyone wants to try out ING Direct, PM me. I'll send you a referral and you'll get $25 for starting an account if your initial deposit is at least $250.

Seems like we may all not want to disclose who we bank with. Thats one less variable a thief would need to have in order to make off with your money. Call me paranoid lol... Between that and the fact that a lot of people on here disclose intimate details of their life... passwords are prob pretty easy to come by... just sayin!

I don't think sharing the name of a bank is an issue.
