Loud music with windows all rolled down is one of annoying things on the road. I bet those people's hearing will be damaged down the road. I always keep my windows rolled up as I prefer stay quiet inside my cars (or listen to my own choice of stations or music) without getting too much annoyed by loud noise pollution by other cars. Those people who play music up in their cars are jsut showing off to the world how poor taste they have in the music.

The only time I rock out with music is when me and my friends are having a dance party with my insanely awesome grageband music:cool:.

But really I can't stand really loud music, it gives me a huge headache. My friends think that Im nice cuz I volunteer to drive but its just so I can controll the stereo:p

My 2 official favorite songs for blasting in my bros former SLK230 were always either FLIGHT IC 408(or 108) by Talvin Singh or SLAM by Onyx, those songs are so loud and obnoxious, I LOVE IT:D .

There's no question I have some hearing loss due to loud music. Probably more in car listening than concerts. Although I did DJ in a dance club (disco? -no, hole in the wall) for while in the 80s, so I'm sure it's a combination of ear abuse over the years.

I went for a few years with a stock stereo, then I got a used car with an after-market system. There's no comparison IMO. I forgot how much I had missed jamming with a real system in the car. Nothing like the system I had in my '84 Z28: 12" subs, two 6 X 9s, Alpine tape deck with dbx...so much fun!

I'm about to plop down a few bucks for an iPod adaptable car stereo.

Most people hate riding along with me because it's always Rush, and I'm always playing the air bass pretending I'm Geddy Lee.  :D

Yeah well... you don't get something for nothing, you can't have freedom for free. :D

i always have my music up. but its never too loud to piss off everyone around me, occasionally if its all the way up i get weird looks. its usually some hard rock or metal band. (Tool, Chevelle and the like). its relaxing to me.

I love having the music up high, but I try not to overdo it...I want to be able to hear ambulances and stuff like that.

I also keep the bass on low. I have a 12" sub in the back, and I can't stand those obnoxious f***ers that have to make it loud enough for everyone in the neighborhood to hear it. It's for accenting the music ONLY.

hell yeah, I love doin that! Espically in my Jeep, the sound system is actually pretty good, I just got a Saab, not quite as loud, I might replace all the speakers, but this is sick, theres a Digital EQ, its a seperate unit from the stereo, its so sick!

I like to do it. Not too loud so that you can hear it from outside of the car, but fairly loud. I also like to sing when I know the lyrics of a certain song or am in a good mood. My parents don't like it because they think it takes away my focus on the driving. They wouldn't let me listen to the radio or any music for the first few weeks I started driving.

I did it today.. my friend Cory and I went to pick up our friend Dana from work at CompUSA then we blasted Underoath on the way to IHOP  :D

well i have my sweet 2x 9.99 4x6 speakers in my $100 car lol
i did get them wired up so they put out more bass ohh yea im bumpin to my gangsta tunes hehe
