I definitely have my doubts. But at least we get 3.0 tomorrow.

No, it's probably not being released. Show me where Apple says they're not releasing it tomorrow. Yeah. Didn't think you could.
show me where they have EMAILED every dev and told them by tommorow ALL applications have to be compatible with 3.0

ok listen i already said I KNOW that current submissions HAVE to be compatable
but did they email ALL the devs that are on 2.2.1 and have 2.2.1 apps and tell them that by tommorow all their apps have to be updated to work with 3.0

I don't think they will announce the new iphone tomorrow, but I do think the 3.0 update would be more than enough to put the pre in it's place..

That would be great if the new iphone came out... I'm not going to be sitting here creaming my pants just because a new phone came out.. I'm going to wait... I'm sure there will be user that will grab it right up and there will be some that will wait like myself...

ok i am more than willing to be proven wrong. and will admit it.. BUT the 2.2.1 devs have not been emailed (as far as my knowledge) and told that by tommorow that their app HAS to be compatable .. if said email exists please show me
Ughhhhh, what I meant was they'll tell us more about 3.0 tomorrow...NOT, we'll be able to download it...hell I don't even have an iPhone...I sold mines.
so when the day comes that steve is no longer with us, there will never be a new iPhone?

1. You didn't show me anything that it won't be released tomorrow. I doubt it will be as well, but I can't say that for sure. You just come off like a 13 year old fanboy jerk.
2. They've required all app updates to be 3.0 compatible for probably a month now eh?

Could be released any day now, developers are aware of it and if they're not 3.0 compatible it's their problem.
Why does everyone want Steve to introduce the new iPhone all the time?
Anyone who follows Apple (more than likely you do if you signed up on this forum), knows that the iPhone is Steve Jobs' baby. In my opinion the best keynote ever was the 2007 MacWorld one introducing the iPhone. Since then, everything iPhone (besides the SDK) has been done by Steve.
I'm fairly sure we will see Steve tomorrow introduce the iPhone. And if it's not tomorrow, it will be that media event they have scheduled.

Sorry but it's a fact that it would be a much bigger deal if Jobs' introduced it compared to anyone else.
