So season 3 of Dexter is currently running. I've been hooked on Dexter since it came out and I think it's the best show on TV! Is there anybody else out there that likes this show as much as me? Comments on season 3 so far?

By the way, if you like the show, you should also read the books.
 
It's "appointment" TV for me. Loved the first two books, the third is more of a "where the hell is he going with this?!?" thing. Actually, I hope they ignore the third book entirely for the series' development.

As far as I can tell, the first book is the only one that the TV show actually follows (not everything is the same). From the 2nd season on, they don't follow the books. It's kind of nice because you can read the books and still be able to watch the show and not know what's going to happen.
 
My wife and I are huge fans.

I downloaded the first two seasons a couple of months ago and we watched them over the course of about a month. Great show. 🙂

Let's not have any season 3 spoilers in here though because we haven't seen any of them yet!

Dexter kills someone, Brenda loses her temper, Rita is conflicted about her relationship with Dexter, and Sgt. Doakes is still dead! 😛

I haven't gotten to see season 3 yet (don't get showtime), but I loved seasons 1 and 2, so I'm definitely looking forward to it.

btw is there a reason this is in "current events" 😕
 
I don't have Showtime either but I bought every HD episode on iTunes and watched them a few weeks ago. Very cool show.
 
great show. great writing. storyline of season 3 has me guessing where they are going with everything, but i was disappointed about the recent dexter news story which hints at something to happen (won't reveal the story so i don't release anything.)

It amazes me how much of a trucker mouth Brenda has. I'm always interested to see how far she'll go.
 
i just finished the third episode of season one! i wish i didn't have some things to do else i would be watching the next right now!
 
love dexter..never miss an episode. they shoot the series down the way from me so that's always fun trying to figure out where they are.
 
Dexter dont play, I think we are going to find out a little more this season about his dark passenger. Its a great show and his girl friend Rita is a hottie.🙂
 
I thought season 1 was awesome. I was completely addicted to season 2.
Episode 1 and 2 in S3, left me wanting more. However Ep. 3 has spiced things up a little and it's starting to show some promise again.
 
Tonight's Dexter left me wanting more.

Judging from the previews for next week's episode, I think that Miguel Prado is going to set Dexter up to get caught. Scary!
