I thought 5.4" screen would be too small at first, but now I just cannot wait to buy one.
It is bringing back memories from iPhone 4/4S era when I was super excited about the release and when Steve Jobs was still alive.
I am feeling nostalgic...

My 2016 SE is still the smallest and lightest, so I'm not quite ready to rush out and get one. I also don't like Face ID. But if I were forced to buy a phone because my current phone breaks, then I'd get the 12 Mini over the 2019 SE.

In terms of form factor and features, it's the ideal phone for me (almost, I'd miss Touch ID as long as we still have to wear masks in stores). But I'll keep using the SE2 for another year or so until they have a mature 5G radio (that doesn't suck so much power that they have to fall back to LTE as default).

I'm a big fan of the Original SE, so I've been craving an updated "small phone". I'm bummed about the 12-mini being less capable from a photography perspective compared to the Pro models, but I'm still pretty set on ordering the mini as soon as pre-orders open up.

They made that thing look tiny in the intro video, specifically in dude's hand. I'd love a smaller phone but I'll likely be sticking with my 11 Pro for a while.
The only thing I needed to see was that the display is bigger than that of the iPhone 8/SE2, which I find perfectly fine. Having that in a smaller footprint is perfect.

If I buy any iPhone this year it will be the mini. I currently have an 11 Pro Max that is sitting around not being used since I switched to a Note 20 Ultra.

There are times that feels way too big and I feel like a nice compact phone would be a good change of pace.

I know it is silly, I just don't know how I can go back from 120Hz though. People say "oh scrolling matters that much to you"... well yeah. I'm willing to bet most of us spend more time scrolling or watching animations on our phones than pretty much anything else.

debating between that and the 11 pro. I'm on an 8 now so seems like a decent step up. I prefer a smaller phone, but my eyes are starting to go so might pick the 11 due to screen size and extra battery.
