Soo...I've had the best phones (IMO) in 2015 this year.
iPhone 6S Plus
Note 5
Nexus 6P
...they all have their pros and cons...but if I had to choose ONE...hmm, for best phone of 2015...hmm...it'd be something like this:
iPhone 6S Plus (10)
Note 5 (9.9)
Nexus 6P (9)
Yes, please! Lol. Who's your Top 3 phones? Which did you like the best? I only named the three that stood out to me, but I've had more this year. Are we doing a 'I've had these phones this year' thing ? Can I join in ? 😀

Three is too limiting but I can do my top four are in no particular order
Galaxy S6 Edge +
Moto X Pure / Style
iPhone 6S Plus
Nexus 6P
I would love to try the Blackberry Priv before the year is out.

Don't buy that, they go from its a known issue in June to no we do not in November with no record of the issue being fixed.
I just transferred some photos and videos from OneDrive and from Airdrop directly from my iPhone to my Mac. So far, the file size of all the photos and videos are identical and I do not see any difference in visual detail. I am curious to hear the results of you and others doing similar tests. I will drop OneDrive in a second if there is any chance that they do apply any compression to photos/videos...
yippee. Apple will reinvent Qi chargingI hope Apple's latest Magnetic charging dock for their Apple Watch is an indication of a future proprietary magnetic charging dock-ish type thing for iPhone 7.

I don't get the whole wireless charging thing. Wireless charging is slower than plugging it directly in. Plus I would rather carry my lightening cable than a huge wireless charging dock. Plus how hard is it to pick up the little lightening cable and plug it into the dam phone. The time difference and convenience between wireless charging and plugging in the little cable is virtually nothing. Have people become that lazy that they can't take 2 extra second to pick up the little cable and plug it into the little socket on the phone. How hard and long does it take.
The last iPhone I had was the 4S, and since, I've been using the Note 2, 3 and currently the 4. I'm not overly excited about any specific new features announced yesterday, though I am excited about the overall capabilities of iOS compared to a few years ago since I last used the 4S, and the strong integration with OSX. Any one else thinking of switching over?
Wireless charging isn't that great to be honestWireless charging is fantastic and why would they remove the lightning port just for wireless charging as you are implying? So they will remove the ability to charge the phone in the car or sync with computers?
Manufactures don't remove USB ports for wireless charging capabilities and you should try it. Its great to put a phone down or pick it up with no fiddling with cables.
The 6s and iOS 9 is one of the best releases by Apple. Hit the nail on the head with this one.I switched to an iPhone 6S. I returned it after 10 days for a refund.
There were too many annoying little nuances that, after years of using Android, made the iPhone frustrating to use. I'm finding Android hardware quite underwhelming recently, but the iPhone is not for me.
They do make wireless chargers that stand your phone up or have it lying down.Wireless charging isn't that great to be honest
Using the dock connector on the iPhone at home is fine. And at least you can check notifications without needing to pick your phone up or leaning over like with wireless charging.
Wireless charging is just so much slower in general. I think it's more of a gimmick.
I barely used it with my Samsung devices
Yes. I don't get the big deal with wireless charging either.I don't get the whole wireless charging thing. Wireless charging is slower than plugging it directly in. edit: But you have to go with what works for you.

But on the iPhone, scrolling up a long page takes flick after flick after flick. It's like there's some friction on the page scrolling mechanism. It's infuriating!!
