It’s like the best all around band, if you could only have one. At a glance it’s on par with how attractive some of the high end bands are, and then it’s as functional as the sport band by being waterproof, only better because it’s as adjustable as the Milanese loops.

Anyone else rocking a sport loop as their daily band?

Yes, I am too.

I was not aware that these bands had been available previously or I would have certainly bought one for my S2 42mm, but even though the band that came with my S4 Space Grey Aluminium watch is really not at all black, or even grey, it is just about perfect for comfort and appearance.

I typically used a third-party Milanese loop with my previous S2 42mm, and really liked the adjustability, but the sports band has that beat by a long way, just for sheer comfort. I had planned to switch the old band over to the S4, but decided it simply doesn't compare.

I’m glad I’m not alone. I thought I was making a sacrifice by getting it, and was ready to count the days until I could buy a Milanese loop. This thing is so nice to look at, so comfortable, and I can treat my watch like it’s the waterproof product it is, which apparently you cannot do even with authentic Milanese loops (constant reports of the magnet getting pushed out by rust, and also of the loop magnetically attaching to the watch when you take it off, and scratching it up a lot)

I love the look of the Milanese loop and don’t care that it’s not waterproof for the purpose I want it. I would just wear it when I’m dressed up for fancy occasions and be careful with it on those days... but tbh the sport loop looks so nice that it ends up seeming appropriate even when I do dress up!

Sport loops are the best. I have the Crimson/Black Nike one and I love it.

Official Apple Sport Loop is my favorite now and has been for months. Used to be knockoff Milanese loop and before that knockoff leather loops. Unlike the photo in the post I’m quoting, I wear mine the other way and like it better for looks and comfort (I don’t see the doubled part and there’s more cushion against desk or table).

I really like the knockoff (lol) sport loops I bought, I got one in hisbuscus, green and black. People say don’t swim with them because they’re fabric and might fall off, however, I’ve swum with mine multiples times and they don’t fall off and they dry pretty quickly. I just wonder about the longevity of the Velcro part, but seeing that I have like 20 bands that i switch up, it shouldn’t be a problem.

I’m a fan and I was a critic. Took living with it for a while. I have the Summit White reflective. Very clean look and has that reflective pop when the light hits it right.

I’m not a super fan of seeing all the different colors in the official Apple black sport loop and I will admit that I didn’t think it was a good option to wear all the time cause I thought it looekd “cheap”, but it’s super comfortable and I’ve grown to really like wearing it.

They are my daily band at this point. They’re so comfortable and good looking, and my favorite bands to wear. I own 4 different colors and just purchased a new Nike reflective one for my morning dog walks.

i have SS AW4

daily wear: apple sport look black
special occasions/when well dressed: milanese loop

i think i'll never purchase a band that is not a loop because the infinite adjustement is crazy comfortable. Between the two, the sport loop i what i wear daily because i go the the gym and the milanese is not suitable in my opinion; the sport loop is also fine for office and casual wear...

making a comparison, the sport loop is lighter than the milanese (feeling, never weighted the two) and the srap is more secure than the magnet on the milanes (it also can't unbound and pass through the ring, the milanese can), but the milanese is more breathable/fresh in my opinion. it may sound strange cause the "sport" loop of course is made for sport activities where you generally sweat...

two great bands. i wish they'll make a completely black sport loop

My first band ever was a Milanese loop - got it with my S0 on launch day, in 2015. I never did like the imbalance of the loop part - so I bought a stainless steel link for dressy occasions, and a few sport bands for daily use. Since then I've purchased a ton of new bands, including several genuine as well as third-party sport loops ... While I do find the sport loops comfortable, I still dislike the fact that they're vertically asymmetric ... the looped part (at the bottom of the attached screenshot) sticks up/out more than the single part (the part at the top). Otherwise, yeah - very comfortable bands!
