In 2 years when the tech and style is outdated and they are on version 3 of the watch, who else is planning on picking up a gold apple watch edition for around $600.

I'm in!!!:D

The gold contents of the Apple Watch Edition would be worth more than $600. I think a more reasonable price for any used Edition would probably be at least $2,000.

There is s few thousand dollars of gold if melted down so will always have high value
When I was in the store yesterday they were telling me that if any one returns an edition watch they have to be weighed to confirm that all the gold is still there.

I'm pretty sure the metal value of the gold watch is over $600 so good luck with that.

I was being facetious, yes it won't be $600, it will be around 1800-2000 worth of gold, but not worth anything near the $15000 they are asking now.

Basically in 2-3 years that watch will drop in value by $13000, that was more the point.

They will hold their value a lot better than you might think, they will always be a collectors item due to small numbers that will be produced

Lol where do you plan to acquire these watches used? Rich people aren't going to throw it on Craigslist for $3k. They're too busy being rich.

No, they'll throw them on Ebay and watch forums. Ever been to any of the watch forums, people sells expensive watches online all day long.
