Anyone else bummed that Apple didn't release an updated 32" version of the XDR? I've worked with both 27" and 32" displays, and the 32" size difference is meaningful.

Looks like they've discontinued the XDR though and moved the model suffix to the 27" model.

There was a rumour of a 32" iMac (Pro) coming at some point, so if they did that, possibly we'd see a larger ASD XDR? or maybe this iMac Pro will just be a 27" version with the ASD XDR panel in it?

I have two XDRs at the office and an old Studio Display at home. I wish they had updated the XDR with more zones and 120hz.. on the other hand, let’s be real, the old XDR is still a killer display, and this way I can save a ton of money 😉

I think I’ll upgrade my Studio Display at home eventually because the contrast on the old one really sucks.
But I don’t see myself going back to dual 27“… the additional screen estate on the 32“ is just too nice to give up!

For my own needs, I was hoping to see a reasonably priced standard 32” 6K Studio Display. Something non-XDR, 60Hz, that would be sold for $2000-$2400. Would be an instant buy for me.

I was hoping to see a reasonably priced standard 32” 6K Studio Display.

I doubt that is happening. I went for two LG 6K which are not the same quality but the screen size is great and the resolution also.

In terms of quality, they don't match even the old LG Ultrafine 5K. 🙁

I'm sure a new XDR would have to be at least AUD$12,000, with the stand probably an extra AUD$2000, made from specially machined unobtainium. 😉

could the 32" XDR by the rumored 90Hz model? 6K 120 would be a ton of bandwidth
That’s a good point, where did the 90Hz rumour come from?

If there was a 32” XDR, there’s no way it would have lesser specs than the 27” one. So yes, it would cost all the money.
