I was waiting as well, so I decided to get Iconoclasm in the mean time. I love it, and will probably not go with Gridlock IF it is ever updated.

I bought iconoclasm and removed it almost instantly. It's no real replacement for Gridlock.

Iconoclasm along with the iconoclasm layout pack is an ok workaround however it didn't like to play with folder enhancer. Whilst trying to move around apps my phone jumped into safe mode.

Sage Mode...... the plant (would be good in a cooking pinch i guess) or the wise person (somebody who is regarded as knowledgeable, wise, and experienced, especially a man of advanced years revered for his wisdom and good judgment)

I hear you... I prefer SB widgets that stay in place when swiping pages, so iconoclasm is all I need. I'm not planning to get gridlock either when it's fixed, but I can understand why others want/need it.

Lets you put icons wherever you want within a grid. I want it so I can have widgets on my home screen with Dashboard X but currently I can only put them under rows of icons not above.

surprised it's taking so long...frustrating. but i got iconoclasm working (it didn't work for me in 6.1 for some reason, but after jb'ing again to 6.1.1 on my 4S, it's fine...)

I'm using iBlanks as a substitute as well.

I actually talked to Chpwn on twitter a bit.

Apparently iOS 6 caused massive issues with the coding of Gridlock and I got the impression that he has to almost start from scratch and re-make the tweak completely while working around whatever problems that iOS 6 caused

Download Flex, go to Cloud, then Springboard, they have a tweak that is called Grid Unlock.
