General Who else laughed when seeing this in the health app ?

So I updated to ios 8.3 beta 2 to see the performance and other stuff and then I opened the Health app to see what's new and when I was setting my gender I saw this option called "other". OTHER what? And why?

What about intersex humans? Or people in the process of sex reassignment surgery? They may or may not feel comfortable having only 2 choices.
