Who else thinks Windows CP boot logo is ugly as hell???

    The boot logo is meant as a joke. The fish that you see is known as a "betta fish ". The bubble from the mouth forms the number 8. The fish logo simply means that Windows 8 is in beta. I can assure you this is not the RTM logo. MS did the same thing for Windows 7 beta except it was the wallpaper instead.

    I understand it was a beta fish, I'm just saying it's damn ugly! I know they won't keep it at RTM. I remember when they were doing beta's of Windows 7 they had a beta fish wallpaper.

    Yeah its not a great logo. Oh well...Bunch of geeks don't have something pretty to look at for a while. Could be worse

    I don't see how it could be much worse. It's ugly, and this preview will begin to drive people's expectations for the final product. It's looking to me as though Windows 8 is going to be Vista all over again. Only this time, Apple is perfectly poised to profit!
