The effect is noticible to me in the pictures, so I'd imagine they're more noticable in person. What do you guys think?
I ended up swapping mine out because the distortion was getting on my nerves anyway. It's a refurb, brown box, F serial, but the screen seems to be loads better than what I had before. I'm going to take it for a spin, hopefully I don't have to exchange it again.
They're pretty good. That one turned out to actually have massive light bleed though, to the point where black looked dark pink. I actually ended up giving that one to my fiancé because she was using it and didn't notice, and I bought a new one that ended up being exchanged six times because of various issues (distortion for some, but vast majority had very visible dust under the screen when the unit was on). The whole thing has made me not want an iPad Pro.They say that refurbished units are better than new ones because of the stringent inspections and requirements.
I have the same problem. Also noticeably zero screen imperfections which are widely discussed here.I have no problem with colors, but I do have trouble with touch calibration. Does anybody else has problems clicking on small buttons?
Example: Real Racing 3, in the main screen when I try to lower the "Free Gold" banner on the top right corner (landscape). The touch is a bit missaligned vertically with where I really want to click. I need to touch a bit above of the button to actually hit the button.

My iPad Air 2 seems to have a good screen, to my eyes at least. Picked up a mini 4 today and it seems like the air 2 has a "cooler" screen than the mini 4. The whites on webpages look whiter with the smallest blue tint to the, while on the mini 4 they are a "duller" white
My Air 2 has one little dead pixel in the corner of the screen, should I take it to Apple?
