How do you like it? :D

Is it worth the rush, to download it before leaving for dinner?
..or was all the smack talk better than the outcome?

Wait...how could someone have 3.0? Or do you mean developers?

Yup, seems fine to me. MMS working, copy and paste is good, not really tested spotlight in any detail.

Got it. Installed it. Missing my Jailbroke apps like BiteSMS. Wondering when beta5 expires. Might drop back down since I can't record video or have voice commands.

I guess, I had a brain fart...I thought I remember seeing that it would be available today.
I guess the lack of threads on 'downloading now' should have clued me in. lol.

    sorry guys.

Does it require a developer UUID activation like the betas did?

I wish I knew someone with a developer account! :D I can't wait to see the copy/paste and text forwarding especially. I hope someone will let us know if it's working smoothly! :)

If 3.0 is ready, why is Apple waiting a week until they release it?

    got in on my 2G

No Push, No Tethering so far. So not worth the rush.

Weird: on booting the apple logo disappears after 5 seconds - black screen for 10 seconds but boots up fine - anyone else?

to us devs that upgraded to 3.0 gm today...i hope this isn't true!!

    --

Apple has made the GM (gold master), or final version of iPhone 3.0 available to developers via developer.apple.com in advance of June 17th public release.

Apple VP of iPhone Software, Scott Forstall, reminded developers to download it, test against it, and if their apps didn’t work, to get updates done and fast!

WARNING: Devs are telling us that new terms and conditions need be accepted before downloading iPhone 3.0 GM, which include a warning that applying the developer build may permanently lock your device out of the commercial 3.0 release on June 17th.

If you’re not a legit developer who needs this now, more than ever — stay away!

Nah.. it just says you cant go back to PREVIOUS versions! Wouldn't make any sense having developers run other builds than consumers

I guess it's better that I can't play with it until after my exams anyway.

That is not true. It only "locks" the iPhone from previous firmwares.
