iPhone 12 Pro Who has a silver iPhone 12 pro?

Out of all of the photos I am looking at, I can’t seem to find one photo of a silver iPhone 12 pro. Has anyone purchased silver yet, received silver yet? Apparently that might be the least favorite color. If so I’ll get mine quickly if I choose to go silver. Right now I’m leaning heavily towards gold but with the 12 pro Max. As a photographer I want the bigger sensor that it’s going to come in the 12 Pro Max.

I also like the graphite and gold. They are amazing. Blue is so so IMO. I mean, all are nice but it’s not my fav by a long shot!

Silver pro here too, wife got blue but I love the white being honest. Black is boring at this point and I had green last year and the blue for me anyways is to similar to the green. I wouldn’t change my white for anything. Just looks classy with the bright polished bezels. But that’s just my opinion.

For all generations other than the iPhone X🆂 I’ve gotten the “black” option, but I really never cared for the Pro’s variant of Space Grey/Graphite. It looks brownish.
I was all set to get Pacific Blue and even preordered it, but after seeing hands on videos I promptly cancelled and went to Silver - even at the cost of an extra shipping week.

I shyed away from Silver after the X🆂 because of how easily it scratched (compared to my Space Grey model which is nearly flawless). The fact that even the Silver is supposed to have some kind of coating gives me hope.

Ok. Cool. Yeah I don’t like dark colored phones, black gray, blue etc. either. I’m wanting either the silver or the gorgeous Gold. I’ll probably go gold again. I’ve had silver many times, I currently have the 11 pro Max gold. I like it. The gold 12 pro max looks awesome. Just two weeks before I can order my 12 pro max. Until then I’ll be deciding on gold or silver... the gold will probably be more durable. I’m 80% sure I’ll go gold.

I've always gotten white/silver with all of my previous iPhones. But then last year I allowed myself to get carried away and went for the new "must have" color of the year (Midnight Green) and I regretted it for an entire year. Never again. Dark phones just don't do it for me.

So I'm back to silver and I love it. The frosted glass on the back is slightly off-white and has a pearlessence to it that makes it look very expensive. I just wish Apple would've opted for brushed stainless steel on the sides. The sides are way too shiny and trap fingerprints very easily. Sadly, it kinda ruins the look of the phone because it looks like cheap plastic unless it's freshly polished.

That said, I love it. Get the silver one!

Not my photo, but here you can really appreciate the frosted glass on the back and how it reflects the light. It's hard to take pictures of the silver model that do it any justice.

The sides are way too shiny and trap fingerprints very easily. Sadly, it kinda ruins the look of the phone because it looks like cheap plastic unless it's freshly polished.

Take some steel wool to that baby and be the first with a matte-ringed Pro!

The Silver 12 Pro is a great contrast when its in a case as well! Just need a blue wallet for the Red, White and Blue look

Exactly... I've got some stainless metal polish that I used occasionally with the iP X. They don't mark up that fast, probably had to polish it 3-4 times over 3 years. If you drop or scratch the stainless steel, you can tidy it up quite easily but with the coated ones... you're stuck with any damage, scratches.

Yeah... but polishes up easily. I used to do that every now and again but, after a while I found I just lived with it for the most part. Nobody else is going to notice unless they have a hold of it!

Funny story for me. I originally bought a 512 Blue Pro. I realized it was way too much capacity so I returned it for a 256. Unfortunately all they had was a silver. I was really annoyed at first that my color choice was kind of taken away from me. But I got it anyway, reminding myself it would be in a case. After having it for a day or two, the white with my red case is growing on me. When using an Apple Silcone case, you even get a sliver of
Silver you see from the front. With the blue, this little bit of color was pretty much invisible and just looked black.

I knew I wanted the Pro regardless because of the way it looks, but I was able to further justify it because from what I understand, Verizon wants $30 to activate a 12 when 12 Pro is free and 12 pro gets an extra 64GB storage that Apple values at $50 on the 12.

So to make them more equal, it’s 128GB 12 $880, 128GB 12 Pro $999. The build materials and the extra camera were worth the price.

that's a great point. plus you will get more back in resale later down the line so the delta is probably even less.

Picked up a white 128 pro today, it’s really great. Had a choice in colors but I thought the silver was striking. All of the pro colors are great but I wanted the polished bezel.
