I have decided not to use it. 5GB for a start is way too small for all my stuff without buying more.

Plus, with all my Calendar issues I had I am starting not to trust it.

Personally, I think it is too integrated with the iPhone. I know you can switch it off but by doing so disables one of the most useful features! Find my iPhone!

    Any thoughts?

I have my iCloud settings turned on but I'd rather back all my things up on my Mac and my external hard drives.... I sold my other iDevices last year so it's just my iPhone and Mac. Don't really see the need for iCloud at this very moment.

Well, since you can't use the 5GB for just "your stuff" it's probably okay for now, since it will hold backups of app data for you.

What calendar issues have you had? It hasn't even been on for 24 hours and you're complaining about some calendar issue?

Also... "Too integrated" ?! If you just want Find my iPhone on, then just leave that on and turn everything else off.
