Experience
I think your genius bar experience and overall store experience depends on the location you visit. The closest one to me is overly crowded and you cannot find anybody to help you. I had problems with my iPhone 4 home button and they genius wouldn't do anything. Later my power button got stuck and went back and they still didn't do anything since by then my warranty was over. I stopped caring for my iPhone 4 because of how none of the buttons felt functional. One day my gf was using it and she dropped it. I went to this same apple store and checked in with a genius and said someone should help me a a few mins. Standing there for a good 1 hr nobody came to me and I asked the checkin dude and he asked me if I even checked in with him. I told him I checked in with him and he said I didn't. At this point he realized I checked in with someone before his shift and apparently they look the same at least to me. I sat at the genius bar explaining my problems with the phone. The guy was not at all sympathetic of my 1 hr wait so I just left the store. I never visit that store. I drive further down the highway for a another apple store now. This other apple store actually greets customers as they walk in and the employees actually ask if you need any help. This is where I got my iPhone replaced after telling them my ordeal. Still cost me $149 but much better service
