its sad how much money i have given to starbucks. and my poor coffee maker at home.... its like an old horse thats been on the trail toooo long.

Hate the smell, hate the taste.

A mug of weak tea for me with a sweetner or 2 sugars if sweetners arent available.

ditto.

and after finally figuring out how to make good, everyday coffee at home (with a french press and a coffee grinder) i am not spending $10+ a day on it either.

and i never, ever thought i would say this: but Starbucks Pike's Place roast is pretty dang good. been buying it whole bean for a week or so.

I was wondering if it is good or not. Maybe I'll buy some next time I need some beans. Is it a dark roast?

I have been buying the Red Sea Blend at Whole Foods. It is fantastic. And I really like the medium roast brewed coffee at The Coffee Bean. Good stuff.

However, I miss my Tim Horton's Large Double Double with Milk! I used to go daily when I lived in Toronto. They would see me walking in, and would have my coffee ready before I ordered it. Before I moved, I bought 4 Tim Horton's mugs for my morning coffee and to remind me of home.

 you must have drank the crap instant stuff and not got a proper caffeine hit.

I've read that people who drink coffee everyday don't get a caffeine hit. They have to withdraw before caffeine really takes affect again, that takes a couple days.

When I would work in the morning and got home, I would drink a cup so I wouldn't fall asleep, and ruin my sleep schedule. I hate morning shifts. Otherwise I don't drink it, it messes with my stomach.

Good grief, hell yes! It's the only way that I have figured out to wake up in the morning and prepare for the day ahead of me. The third and latter cups actually start tasting good! It's the first two that get the body and mind ready.

must...have....coffee....<twitch>

I work nights so I drink a cup to wake up. I'll drink it at restuarants with breakfast or occasionally with apple pie, but rarely will drink it after am hours. My home drink of choice is tea.

In my 43 years on this planet, I have never tried coffee. I can't stand the smell, and I hate coffee-flavored candy, etc.

used to love a few cups in the morning, but this year quit drinking coffee and only drink water and juice in the morning. It has given me much better energy and i feel better. I do drink a decaf mocha every once in awhile but just when I want something sweet.

Just finished off a extra large cafe mocha from Tim Hortons... (extra large cups still have the roll up the rim contest on).
... But instead of winning a car, boat or $50 Timmy's card I get the familiar "Please play again / Reessayez S.V.P" :(

At least my addiction is fairly tame, usually 1 cup a day and I'm good.

I drank coffee once about 10 years ago, when I was like 14, and didn't like it...so I never drank it again. I am sure drinking coffee can't be any worse than me drinking a 12 pack of coca~cola each day.

I hate the stuff. The smell makes me feel ill.

Now Tea on the other hand is the drink of choice! :)

Same here. Not to mention tea is actually good for you.

Except that it will rot your teeth and take the enamel off them.
