It fills a need for me personally, because I really don't want a laptop but I want something that does more than an iPhone/iPod touch. I thought about a netbook but they were just small laptops, and there was more to the matter than just size, something I think most netbook makers have failed to realize. The iPad is something I've wanted for a long time. But I recognize that I'm probably in a very small group of people who were looking for something just like this. Anyway, that's why I am definitely going to get one, though not until a couple of months after it has been released.

I still haven't figured out how it fills any need that can't be already met by my MacPro, Cinema Display, keyboard, mouse, 5 Car batteries, an inverter, a cellular router and a hand cart. So I also voted no.
