Now that the speaker crackling issue has been resolved in the Mojave update, it's the best MacBook I've ever owned. 🙂

No problems with mine. I love it! However I must add that it is not stressed with heavy gaming apps or external devices. I rarely hear the fan and it is usually cool to the touch.

13" i5, no problems since update to Mojave.

On High Sierra I had a few freeze+restarts, but not sure whether that was the OS or Safari (they all occurred when using Safari, which may be coincidence). I switched my default browser before updating, but not long enough before to be sure whether it was the update or change of browser that fixed it. At some point when I'm a bit less busy I'll try Safari again to see.

No problems with keyboard, heat or any of that stuff.

Have 15" base and really like it. I previously had a windows 15" but it was heavier/thicker and not as portable.
This is much thinner and much nicer.
It is also very rigid structure and feels very premium. 6 cores helps future proof it.

Sometimes people try to imply Apple is obsessed with thinness for no reason but it helps it feel more portable.
I also tried the 13 but over time it felt a bit claustrophobic trying to edit in photoshop, video etc, but the 15 feels like a proper computer where i haven't felt the need to connect to a monitor.
The aspect ratio vertically being taller than my last 15 laptop helps also.
It feels ok to take it places and it really isn't much of a bother compared to the 13 although that one was a bit lighter and breezier to carry.

It is very responsive and fast.
After getting the ipad pro 11, i now see how it would have been nice if they also did face-id on the macbook pro, but the touch-id is still nice to use.
I think the touchbar looks cool and is ok but i haven't explored the options too much for it.
