I know I am.

Although it may sound early, I look forward to hopefully more ram, smaller processor and hopefully a longer battery life.

Just hope it doesn't become even thinner.

I think I'll pass on the 6S because the form factor will most likely remain the same. I am however hoping that the iPhone 7 has a different form factor giving the 7 plus a little smaller footprint

I tell myself every year that I will skip the 's' cycle, but I typically end up selling my current iPhone to purchase the new model anyway. While I'm content with my 6, I'm sure that I will end up getting the 6s. If I were to sell it, I'd probably do it before Apple announces the new phone. Fortunately, I can use my 5c until then.

I'm going to try and hold out till the 7 or 7S. Depends on how big of a change up Apple makes with the next design.

Not looking forward to the 6S that much as I am still VERY happy with my 6+.

Had no problems with it and Apple will have to really step up to get me to buy the 6S. I notice no difference in my iPad with 1GB and my iPad Air with 2GB.

Lets see what Apple has to offer, thinking it will not be a huge change, just incremental.

Time will tell!

It depends on what they will add on the next version. By the way, saying "iPhone 6s Plus" is very inconvenient.

Personally I don't see any need for more RAM, my phone works perfect as it is. What I do want is 4k video recording which might make more RAM necessary.

Will have to wait and see what it offers. But, the 7 sounds like a better upgrade atm :)

I'm happy with my 6+, but I'd really like to own a (rumored) rose gold iPhone, which is probably not worth the $ to upgrade just for the color.

Oh yes, a Rose Gold iPhone 7.

Because of this I sort of suspect they might just drop the "s" variations and just call the next one the 7, then the 8, etc.

<== this guy.

I upgrade every year. I'll be paying off my 6 plus, selling it, and getting the 6S plus on a new AT&T Next Plan.

April/May is about the time when I start getting restless!

What are you actually looking for in a phone or do you just like the excitement part of getting the new toy? Just curious to know how the latest and greatest person thinks, when it comes to phones. Not trolling, just curious.

I don't sell last years model... those get handed down to the kids and the wife and I get the newer models. With four lines we always have 2 available for upgrade.

Not a smaller footprint.... keep it the same size but make the screen bigger. That's what I'd like to see.

In general, I just like having the latest tech available in my iPhone. I'm not really ever looking for anything specific so each incremental upgrade has been worth it to me. Getting Siri was worth it, getting TouchID was worth it, getting a bigger screen was worth it. Plus, I usually switch colors each year.

It's only $100-$200 out of pocket and a lot of people spend that going to a ball game several all times a year.

Look forward to a jump from 5s to 6s Plus. Probably won't sell the 5s but will use it as an iPod touch to replace my iPod nano 6, anyway.

i love my 6 plus. it's everything i need from a smartphone. not to mention the battery is outstanding!

the next iPhone would have to have something purely amazing for me to sell my current one.

Me. I've had every iPhone since the original. Bought the 6 plus and 6 but they were not good phones for me. Using my 5S.

The 2g ram will be incredible with my jailbreak. Can't wait.

the doubling of ram is intriguing but i dont think i am willing to give up my jailbreak just to get it. in fact, i kept my 5 for so long waiting for the jb that there is probably no point in selling the 5 tbh. so no i won't, i had been buying every other year anyway so i can wait. even if there is something justifying it, my current 6 is fine.
