iPod Who is using "classic" iPods?

i got a 3rd gen classic. i dont quite know if it works (i need a firewire charger) and it needs a headphone jack. its a 20GB

i just picked up a 2nd gen ipod mini and us it in my car, did a battery replacement on it and not it will last a couple days. its nice to have something that still works from 2004!
 
Sold my last classic after my wreck cause it tore up the body and screen.

I will be purchasing a new classic as soon as I get my new bike. Being able to carry all of my music on 1 device (~100GBs) is a huge plus but I need a player with physical buttons. Even if the iPod touch or iPhone had the storage capacity of a classic I wouldn't be able to use it while riding my bike because of the lack of buttons.
 
As of today I join the "Classic" family. First had a 4GB 2nd gen Red Nano, and I loved it until my brother borrowed it and it got stolen out of his car, engraved with my name and number no less.

Then a 3rd gen 32GB touch, died after one year and Apple wouldn't fix it :/
Then my 4th gen 64GB touch that I've had the last 4 years, new in 2010. But I finally sold it. It was slowing down and pretty beat up.

So, after missing the click wheel for 5 years, I'm back with a new classic 😀
Also may be picking up a 5/5.5 gen from a friend with issues (prob HDD, I'll fix it).

Best Buy guys seemed surprised I wanted the classic, said they still sell them, but not a whole lot. The stock was new this time though. Earlier I went in and they had like one silver and a few blacks.
 
We have a 4th Gen (click wheel) and 5.5 Gen, as well as a few Classics (of different varying models) is use quite a lot.
 
I have a... What is it a 6th gen iPod nano? I dont know the second newest iPod nano. I use it every 4 months or so just to play with. I like how it has radio.

yea, the one i just said 🙂 thats a 6th gen. the 7th gen is taller and has no clip. it also uses a dock connector, and not lightning like the iphone 5

10 years later and I still love using my 4th gen iPod, fully loaded with ALAC files. After replacing the battery and upgrading the hard drive from 20 to 40 gigs a few years ago, it still works just as well as it did on the very first day. 🙂
