Who Killed the Picture Association Thread

Now I am confused. Are we talking about continuing the Picture Association thread in the political forum or this one?

I tend to agree with you about the collateral damage comment. Could that be the politcal ploy. By killing off other popular threads the heat from closing the gay way thread is not felt as badly? Just a random thought.

I think that it is most probably trying to maintain a consistent stand across all threads. It would not be justifiable to say one thread is a spam hole while allowing another to continue when both have already reached thousands of post

It was another spam hole, so I killed it. It served its purpose and then, it was used for whatever else...everything else.

i would tend to disagree as it was used as intended. comments and posted images were in compliance with the theme of the thread. picture association and comments on those associations is what ensued ... unless i missed something; being one of the daily posters to that thread, i thought it was handled quite well until Dr. Q left. There was no one there to babysit it everyday (i.e. no one else found it of much interest) so since he's been gone it's been a little loose, but i felt it was still in line with the thread theme. if it was just spam then it should have been wasteland'ed instantly. it's intention was (or so i interpreted association as) to gone on forever ... or until abandonment.

oh well, it would have nice to close it until Q got back to see if he wanted to keep the maintenance going, but whatever.

i know you didn't make the decision bousozoku ... im just stating my POV. 🙂

Now that you mention it, I don't think I've heard it used in that context before. Seems like I usually hear it directed at another as in "Shut yer spam hole".
