Sadly, I think this is how Apple breaks the launch line ques, despite what Ahrendt's said. I liked the ques because we talked to a wide mix of Apple enthusiasts. Since MacWorld died this is a thing of the past.

My first hiccup was with the iPhone 5. I ordered home delivery only to have UPS deliver at 8:30 pm. I was at the store at launch and they had enough stock until 10:00 am central.

My bad on this order. The choice was store or delivery when my cart was set to pay at 2:02 cdt. Idiot me, I spent 6 minutes trying to get store to work until I gave up and paid for home delivery. That six minutes cost me to wait for the May 13-27 wave.

I will never make that mistake again.

And I thought the lines were good for Apple. High dollar customers patiently waiting. Lots of earned (free) media. I've used Apple products since the Apple II+.

The emails have a lot of things that can delay them between apples servers and your inbox. Email time will not accurately reflect where you are in line, especially when dealing with a minute.

Plus, not everyone who ordered a watch is on this forum. We are only a very small percentage who are on here. Can't paint a complete picture that way. 1 thing is sure though. Each country had different allocations. So you might be first in line in the U.S. But someone in the UK way behind you could have already received the same watch you are still waiting for.

That's what happened to me. I lost 4 minutes googling why there is no in store pick up. This will be the last  preorder I participate in without in store pick up.

Hello all. Long time stalker first post. I have a confirmation at 3:03 am ET, but out of curiosity I contacted support and was informed my order was booked at 3:27 am. They then proceeded to take me from the bank had a problem to spending limits..... any way I had already talked to the bank and I will say this their CSRs are not happy apple is driving their call volumes. Bottom line without confirming your time that email confirmation means nothing. I honestly think the issue was an Apple and the EOD went out to folks they knew were impacted. Otherwise the EOD made no sense given the date range was already known.

Really? I definitely remember the option but since I was sure I was getting it the 24th because i ordered so early I don't really think about it much.

Yes, I'm 200% positive. I clicked on it, thinking that if it had a faster option I'd do it, just in case, but it only said standard shipping.

We've been over this 100 times in this thread. Your order was confirmed 3 minutes and 27 seconds after the store went live. So your order time is 3:03:27. Don't worry your fine.

It's been confirmed that apples system is in military time and lots of reps read it wrong. Your order was likely 00:03:27 meaning 00 being hours, 03 being minutes and 27 being seconds.

Charged This Early AM... Still Processing

Was charged this AM around 3:30 on AMEX and am still processing... Anyone charged this AM still processing?

This is really confusing, though. I contacted apple just to ask them about this and he checked with his supervisor, which took forever, and he assured me it meant my order came in at 5:57 a.m. and NOT 00:05:57. I'm with you guys, as many people have said what you are saying is correct, but for someone who contacts Apple and is told this, it's confusing and disappointing at first.

Hi sorry just to confirm is this a 42mm SS BSB and are you UK or US :D

Yep 42mm SS BSB and I'm in Canada. Unfortunately though I will be in the USA when my watch arrives in Canada :(

When did you get your confirmation email?

can anyone confirm reports of apple stopping overnight delivery on watches after 24th and kicking it back to 3-5 days ?

Maybe I'm just in denial but I think today is the day a lot of us in the US get charged (although let's be honest, I've woken up with that same misplaced optimism every day for days now)

My SS 42mm Bsb went preparing to ship last night, I am in the United States (Kentucky). I ordered at 12:03am pst, I am curious on when it will ship, hoping for Monday delivery.

My shipping estimate is Wednesday and it went into shipped status around 9am this morning. So it looks like that's true. However my tracking number is not working yet so I can't confirm the Wednesday estimate.

Everyone I've seen including mine that went shipping today are reporting Wednesday delivery estimates.

This is so frustrating! I am in Arkansas and have 3 42MM SS BSB on order with confirmations at 02,03,05 but no movement or charges at all! +EOD

I've been stalking this thread for days now, and it seems like most people commenting on receiving charges and shipment notifications are in Canada (not all, but most). I hope this means that the US will be the focus of the next wave. I don't know if this is true, since the people here don't represent everyone who ordered watches, but I'm really hoping.
