who order a 42mm Stainless Steel Apple watch with Black sports

Anyone know what time the shipments for the 42mm SS BSB shifted from 4/24-5/8 to later than that?

Had mine confirmed at 00:05:50 and had the 4/24-5/8 shipping window.
 
I'm beginning to lose hope on my original order of a 42mm SS BSB which went in 41 minutes after pre-orders began (damn snooze button). My shipping window is May 13-26. So I've just ordered (10min ago) a 42mm SS Milanese and it says it will deliver by june 1... I bet I get the Milanese first. They must've sold a ton of the 42mm SS BSB model if the orders are 16 days apart but the delivery dates are only 6 days apart.

I'm glad to see they are finally processing in the true order. For the most part, at least. But I'm SO mad at myself for double checking my order twice on April 10th. And then I entered in my credit card instead of debit, using apple pay. I wasted a solid 4 minutes doing this, and 4 minutes turned into 4 days or MORE! Oh well, I know moving forward that every second counts. It's helped staying off this forum the last 24 hours, once I saw others were shipping. Going for a 75 mile bike ride now, ya'll have a good day! :apple::apple::cool:;)

Wow 41 minutes after pre-orders and got the same delivery window as me. My order went in right after 9 minutes.. Makes me think Apple will really push deliveries in the next couple of weeks.

It's more like a priority based search by time stamp first and then geographic region. If geographic region trumps time stamp, they'll ship that out first.

Yeah, definitely get the regional vibe from the posts in here as well. I'm basing mine off another Coloradan that got charged this morning and he was confirmed @ xx:03:27. Either way, if I bank on the 8th, I can't be disappointed anymore. :(

I ordered before you in Boston (3:04:34) and haven't gotten any charge yet. They just haven't gotten that far through the orders I guess.
 
Ok, this is strange, my sister just forwarded me her time stamp. No seconds on it. Even if was :00 (like mine), it would show (like mine).

I would assume that the number of orders per minute would drop off fairly quickly after the first 5-10 minutes. Assume the majority of people who were up late got orders in quickly. Then it's stragglers and people who woke up late that order beyond that.

This would explain why people who order 1.5 hrs late have similar ship dates as people at 9 minutes.
 
Just got charged!!!! It's happening!!! It happened literally two minutes ago because I accidentally removed my Amex from apple pay so payment failed. Just re-added it!

Confused...so your payment failed and then was approved because you re-added it? Wouldn't a failed payment cancel an order?
 
My credit card was just charged as well!

Apple will retry the payment. I had a similar issue where my payment token was invalidated bc I had to hard reset my phone. I then had to call apple and just give them my AMEX number and it all went straight through on my 42SSWSB.

Now I'm just waiting for one of my other orders to go through. Hoping for the BSB that I ordered first.

Lesson learned here as well. With Apple allowing so many more countries to order on pre-launch days (including highly populated ones like China), you want to place your order within no more than 2 minutes. But 1 minute is even better. Things like AppleCare can wait until after you receive the order. The Apple Store app tends to be available earlier than website but have both ready to access. So when another pre-launch opns up at 12:01AM PST, I will complete my order by 12:02AM PST (or 12:03AM PST at latest). So notice to all: I'm not playing around next time. In fact, I'll buy two so I can sell the other one on eBay to someone who doesn't order early but wants to receive an early order.

Apple gives you a grace period to update your CC info or they will cancel the order. They know these orders were placed over 2 weeks ago and weren't charged. People could have lost their card, card expired, etc. during that time. Hence the reason they allow you time to update the CC info.
