Actually, yes...a HUGE part of waking up in the middle of the night to be one of the first one to preorder is the fact that USUALLY we are the very first ones to have them. This is something we enjoy. We like it when most people are unfamiliar or haven't seen one and ask us about it. We enjoy being that person. We aren't mad at Apple, just disappointed that we can't partake in the first-few-days enjoyment like so many others are getting to. With that, I'm done. Be haters if you must, but you obviously just...don't...get...it.

And don't be shocked when comments like that receive a reaction. No one has said a word because people are excited to receive their Apple Watch, only that a lot of people on here have acted like Apple has somehow deceived them or murdered their child.

The timelines were very clear from the start. It's unfortunate and of course everyone wants something sooner, but that isn't reality. Clearly some people can deal with that far better than others.

Just saw a friends 42mm SG and boy am I jealous. I don't mind not getting it on launch day personally, but all my friends and coworkers know I'm an apple guy so I'm am constantly asked if I've gotten in yet. Please stop reminding me that I don't have it yet everybody! #

And we are dealing with it. This site is kind of like therapy. I honestly had no clue how many people got so antsy and excited about Apple product launches. I thought I was alone, and most people around me thought I was crazy. But this is my thing...very much my thing. I've enjoyed messaging back and forth on here about stuff and realizing that the world is full of "crazy" people who set alarms on preorder night and wait by their mailbox for their new toy like puppies waiting for their owners. Again, we are all big boys (and girls) and we will live, no matter when they arrive, but there IS some excitement that has been lost...at least a little. I've personally ordered every iPhone and iPad since the very first ones of each came out and have never dealt with this. It's like your very best friend picked someone else first for their kickball team when they've picked you first 100 times. Haha. Apple obviously knew they had issues and that's why they gave a two-week delivery period for the first wave, and that's fine, but not a single one of us who purchased in 5 minutes thought we would still be sitting here today without anything. It was just a huge, unpleasant surprise.

Same here. I had people emailing and texting me Friday saying they wanted to see my watch because they knew I ordered it so early. Some of us are just "that guy."

I thought the site previously showed upcoming flights as well; not sure in what time period, though. But there don't appear to be any today.

I'm not sure about upcoming. Every time I checked it seemed to only show ones that were either just about to take off or those that were already in flight.

I just saw the new commercial and I almost threw my remote at the TV! Now I want this thing even more and I didn't even think that was possible.

Yeah, it's fun, I love technology and being the go to guy. Just a bummer I only had my wife's on my desk unopened. People wanting to see it and ME TOO. It was a mother's day gift to my wife (she knew she got it). She told me to open it because she knew it was killing me not to have received mine.

I couldn't take the un-boxing away from her. Opening a new Apple product is 1/2 the fun.

It's possible that it's not just UPS planes coming from China, there appears to be a substantial China Cargo flights from Shanghai to Anchorage taking place. When the 6 and 6+ came out Apple was said to have booked every cargo flight for a couple weeks not just UPS and FedEx. So perhaps they are using multiple carriers or perhaps certain carriers on the days UPS doesn't fly much.

Hello All,

I am new to this and I've been reading the feeds for the last few days. I'm just wondering if anyone might have an idea of when my watch could ship based on the time. The official time based on the email is 12:04:54. I'm in California too.

Thanks so much. Hopefully I"m close. I'm hopeful that my watch will be shipped within the next 48 hrs. Does this seem right?
