I ordered the 42mm SS with a white sport band that gets delivered 4/24-5/8, and a Stone leather loop band that arrives 4/29-5/12. Much better than the 4-6 week estimate if I'd purchased the watch with the Loop. Would have probably held off on the sports band, but with all the positive comments about it, I'm pleased to be getting both.

I ordered the Classic Band, mostly to stay within the initial delivery window. But I also ordered the Milanese Loop and Link bands, though after trying it on today, I'm not sure I'll keep the Link band since it's heavy. Who else ordered multiple bands, and which ones?

I ordered the watch with classic buckle to get it first day.

I ordered the link bracelet as well as that was my first choice, but didn't want to wait. I was going to order the watch with link and order the classic buckle later so it worked out.

Didn't really want to, but had to to get the combo I wanted.
SS w/ Link was 4-6 weeks.
SS w/sport was 4/24-5-8, and ordering Link separately was 4/29-5/12

So I am getting an extra band...

I did the same thing but got the classic buckle

I realize the watches need to be ordered online, but don't you think the bands will be available for purchase in the stores? I'm guessing at least the sport bands will be available. I bought the SS link and plan on picking up a white sport band for exercise.

I ordered the stone band. I really like the contrast with the black and the silver. I wish you could change the background of the Apple watch to be a color other than black.

I ordered a 42mm SS with black sport band, as well as blue leather and Milanese loop.

The sport band will be strictly for physical activities. leather for casual wear and loop for a bit more of a formal look.

The same combination of watch and bands as me.

I don't know - my band order says ships 2-4 weeks, delivers 29 Apr - 12 May. So who knows how good store supplies will be.

Don't know why - seems like they could have geared up production on those well in advance.

I have the same question. The specialist at my local Apple Store didn't have an answer for me, even after checking with her manager. Hopefully someone here can enlighten us.

Ordered the SS 42 w/Classic Buckle and a seperate order Milanese for formal wear and Black Sport for exercising.

I was able to change the background of the chronograph face to white and mutilple other colors if I chose.

I have all except the leather loop and I'm thinking really hard about ordering one while still in the "May" delivery range. Were you able to try them on? Can you help me justify having all three?? I really feel like the leather loop will complete my every day selection and satisfy my urge to give Apple all my money! Haha

I ordered a blue leather loop for my black sport. $150 is a ton for a watch band but I fell in love with it at the try on. I'm hoping launch day will bring some bands in stock at the store. As of right now my band wont ship till may.

Can I ask what's the blue leather loop like? Is it really bright? I've ordered one with my SS it looks good online but some people have said that it's a bit in your face bright.

you can change the backgrounds of the chronograph watchface, I was messing around with a white face at the store over the weekend.
