this thread is for those who ordered the iPhone 6S/Plus 16gb version. I see a lot and i mean A LOT of people ordering either the 64gb or 128gb version. For me i ordered the 16gb version because i don't use camera all that much and not much gaming apps. I mostly just use it to stream movies, music, and read and need a bigger screen. I love the ios.

So what's your reason?

16gb is enough if you have unlimited data. I store all my music on Google music. For pictures I back up all my photos and videos on Google photos. However I'm getting the 64gb. Plus when I sell it later it'll be easier to sell and higher resale value so paying extra for 64gb pays off later.

I ordered a 6s 16gb. I transfer all my pics and videos to my mac monthly. I also use streaming for videos and music, so I really don't need that much space.

i ordered 2.

one iPhone 6s and one iPhone 6s plus, both 16gb. i have unlimited data so i preffer doing streaming. Although last year i bought the 64gb version.

I think buying the 64 and 128 are kind of a waste unless you really store all your music and photos on the phone with you. My last two phones have been 16gb and haven't even noticed any shortage of memory, since I let iCloud manage everything.

I don't see anything wrong with getting a 16gb phone. With the advancements in Cloud storage spanning through different sources, external hard drives, and people using multiple devices for different things, a lot of people won't ever even come close to filling a 64gb phone, or even a 32gb phone for that matter.

I'm getting a 64gb because i will be using my phone for pretty much everything, but I'm probably a minority in that sense today.

I always get a 16gb iPhone - I have an iPod for my music so never store any on my phone. I don't particularly take lots of pics or videos so am not bothered about 4K video :p 16gb is fine for me.

I did at first but then switched to the 64gb because I take a lot of pictures and videos of my kids. With that being said, I would have still been okay with the 16gb as I transfer images/videos off regularly and don't have a lot of apps. My husband is the one who really thought we should go with the 64gb.

I always get 16gb. I have like 200 gigs of iCloud storage and don't download a whole lot of apps. Never been an issue for me.

I bought the 64gb version. I want to take full advantage of the camera. I have a 4K television that allows direct stream via WiFi (eliminating the downgrade of Apple TV). 4 kids requires lots of pictures; wish i could have afforded the 128......;)

I pre-ordered the iPhone 6S 16GB Space Grey for pick up on Friday at the Apple Store since I had no other option.

I'm not expecting to get one but I will try to switch to a 6S 64GB Space Grey once I'm at the store.

I've always bought 16 GB until now. My iPhone 6 filled up way too fast and I constantly had to delete stuff. Finally onto 64 when my friends are moving onto 128.

I used to have 16 Gb iPhones until the 5 ...
But today I couldn't buy something below 64 Gb....

16gb is still available for launch day delivery on uk apple site. 64 and 128 showing 2-3 weeks.

I'm going 128gb.

I've ordered a 16GB. I have around 7GB of storage left on my current iPhone. Have all my photos and videos stored in the cloud and regularly back them up to my Mac. Can't justify the £80 increase this time around ;)

No it doesn't. Relative to the extra $100 you pay for the 64GB, you lose when it comes to resale value as your 64gb used iPhone will not command $100 more than a used 16gb on the resale market.

I went from a 5 with 16Gb to a 6 with 64Gb and pre-ordered the 6S+ with 128Gb. For me, it's about shooting videos of my children and showing them to grandparents who don't have fast Internet access for Youtube and such. I'm considering on shooting some 4K video so 128 was the only option, even though I backup all my data at home.

I was going to order 16 and had said I'd never need more but.. I got tired of managing stuff on my phone - wanting to try an app but having to delete something so I ordered 64gb. I can't imagine I'll ever get more than 20 used but I certainly could be wrong and use a lot more.
