The excitement of getting a new iPhone is unparalleled with that said. I paid $500 for my 13 Pro Max on T-Mobile. They took my old iPhone 8 Plus As trade in for $600 and I’m paying $16 for 30 months that equals $500
Thats a steal in my book.

Nothing in life is free, and that applies to iPhones. Carriers charge high monthly rates, and then lock you into them for 2-3 years. Those high monthly bills should be factored into the overall cost.

The real “deals” exist by buying your phone outright, and getting on a good prepaid service which costs half the price of postpaid. The only exception are people who have 3+ lines with a carrier. Those people seem to save a good amount on their monthly bill.

100% agreed, I did fail to mention Im on Sprint SWAC via TNX on T-Mobile. With the 13 ProMAX on my second line Via Free Line on us.

I always buy outright.

Sold my 64GB 12 Mini for £415, paid £679 for a new 128GB 13 Mini so it cost me £264 to upgrade. No monthly contracts/repayments - I'm on Pay As You Go paying £10 a month.

My wife took advantage of this year's unusual high trade-in values boosted by carriers. They gave her $1000 for an iPhone 11 Pro. I sold my 11 Pro for $700 instead of trading it in because for me, the math worked out differently.

I'm paying $25 a month for Visible Pre-Paid which is a Verizon wholly owned subsidiary (MVNO though). $25 * 12 = $300 a year. Verizon was $70 a month before fees or $840 a year. Verizon giving me $300 more dollars to lock me in for 30 months when I upgrade every 2 years didn't add up. I would have only gotten $792 from their offer before I upgraded and I'd be paying $540 extra a year to stay with Verizon post-paid.

So....I bought my 13 Pro Max outright for $1500, sold my 11 Pro for $700 and I'm paying g$300 a year for wireless service.

I paid nothing upfront for my iPhone 13 Pro Max, I just had to trade in my old phone which was an 11 Pro Max.

I have the EE full works plan (£93pm minus a 20% NHS discount works out at £74 per month) which I do not need at all but they won't let you upgrade early unless it's on an equivalent plan or higher.

Quite happy with it because I'm paying the same price as my old phone plus it gave me 24 months of Apple Music, TV+ & Arcade so I can cancel my AppleOne membership and save the extra money.

I have T-mobile, my 12 Pro was paid off. I checked out Best Buy and they were giving $800 towards the 13 Pro, that was also $100 off. no brainer. Paid $108 out the door for a 13 Pro 128gb, no monthly payments, no nonsense. They took my phone, and I took this phone home.

I sold my iPhone 12 Pro Max to music magpie for £700 and purchased my iPhone 13 pro max from giffgaff for £1,149. I have a sim only 12 month contract from the 3 network for £11 a month which works out to £132 for the year. So overall my upgrade has cost me a total of £581.

Paid 1530 EUR for my 13 Pro Max 256GB.

Gave my old 11 to my mom, she loves it
